We’re scouring the Internet trying to bring you information on how the black gay community is celebrating Martin Luther King Day. Here are a couple more cities to add to our list:
In Tulsa, Oklahoma, the LGBT community is participating in the Martin Luther King Parade scheduled for Monday, January 17th at 11:00 am. Oklahomans for Equality is registered for a marching contingent and is looking for members who want to march with our walking contingent. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to participate. Find out more about Oklahomans for Equality on Facebook here.
A world away, Equality Hawaii will be marching at the Martin Luther King, Jr., Day Parade & Unity Rally on Monday. They will be joined at the event with allies PFLAG-Oahu, Dignity and Pride At Work, among others.
