ESPN is featuring a story on black transgender NCAA basketball player Kye Allums on Sunday’s ‘Outside the Lines.’

 

OutSports has been following Kye’s story, since he came out as transgender in November 13, 2010.  According to the site, Kye Allums introduced himself to the NCAA basketball world at the Best Buy Classic in Minneapolis in a game against the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. At that game, Allums became the first publicly transgender person to play NCAA Div. 1 college basketball.
